Review
This Episode starts off pretty much with Sonic and the gang still in training from the last episode and they are doing fairly weel but have more to learn, that is when they found out that Robotnik is doing a lot of not so good things, and Sonic notices a Freedom fighter friend being captured so that have to freed him. Leaving the training early. Now there are a couple of problems around this point. Yet again, we see someone that is Robotasized by patchs which looks pretty bad. Also it seams a bit dumb that Robotnik isn't Robotasizing Trevor to get information which has normally been the way in SU's Parent Show, and also a in the episode 'To Catch a Queen' which comes later/before, depening on how they deal with this 3 part story. I didn't really like the use of the term 'Theives Highway' meaning the airducts since the term means the rooftops normally but still.. you can probbly get away with it.
The Song is a pretty good one but the Video scene isn't that great. The Tie-in for it is pretty weak really. Some Episodes have the song as a major part relating to the story, this really just uses it as the 'We need a Song'. The idea is meant to be that the weapons are only good when they work together in Harmony, as was said in the last episode, but the music sides can be used anytime. This doesn't really ring true for the series.
The designs use in this episode for the ships aren't really to my liking and as with often, they seam alot bigger on the inside then the out. If you notice alot of episodes, there Van does change shape. Speaking of the Van, i did expect some comment to show them getting the Van since this is the setup which is not really long before the show 'offical' start with 'Wedding Bell Blues'. It does, however, seam to show how they got there Robotroplis base. On the whole, i would probbly say this is a 7 out of 10. maybe a little higher if you watch all three parts in one sitting.. then it's more of a 8 out of ten - Manic Man |
