Robotnik releases the Doomsday pods all over Mobuis. With the entire planet in danger, all the Freedom Fighters everywhere come together and Sonic prepares for the final battle.

In an early Draft, the Early scene of Antione up the tree in the Look-out post was to start with Both Sonic and Antoine up there, NOT just Antoine. Sonic was on look out while Antoine was starting to Fall asleep. Antione falls to the Ground because everthing shakes while he is leaning over the rail.
An Early Draft has, when Sonic gets to Robotnik's Glass Dome, a lasers shoot at Sonic, turning the ground into Molten Slag as it comes closer and closer to him. Sonic brings out two Power Rings and is able to dodge the laser beams, cuts a hole in the floor and escapes. In the Final version, This is replaced by Robotnik trying to Robotacise Sonic.
An Early Draft, When Sonic and Sally are about to use the DeepPower Stones, Sally asks Nicole how powerful they are. Nicole replys the same as in the final episode but added 'It could prove harmful'. Sonic then asks How bad it is and Nicole Replies 'You may not Survive'. Sonic and Sally then decide to go ahead with it, even though it could kill them. Sonic puts out his hand for the normal handshake and Sally Quickly hugs him instead.
In an early Draft (same as above), Snively climb out of a man-hole (not his lift) and the episode ends with him saying 'Now it's my turn'. The Eyes weren't there at all.
An Early Storyboard version continued the ending with a noise heard in the wreckage, and Snively and the Evils look around worried. Perhaps Robotnik was still alive, or this was the apperance of Naugus
