ART was a Robot created by Robot. It could use nearby Metals to change it's form and was able to learn quickly. After learning from the Sonic Underground he joined the Resistance for a brief time until he was destroyed saving the Sonic Underground Bio-Analysis of Character-
ART has three forms seen in the show, the First is a small 'Bug like' creature that looks fairly 'alive' more then a plain Robot. It then gets some of the nearby Metal to form a bigger self which is then all but destroyed when he falls into a Boiling Metal Pit. He then reforms with a different but clearly the same creature form and joins up with the Sonic Underground (after hearing there Music). It is in this form that he is destroyed. Which is pretty odd, when you look at what he can do earlier in the show, it might be possible for him to mold with the Metal in the cage and 'survive' in some form.. but we shall never know, his role works best as a Martyr anyway
