During the Great War, Robotnik worked with the King as War Minster and helped win the War with his Robots. When the war was over, he gave plans to disarm the army and create a more peaceful kingdom. But this was not his real Plan and all the Robots were loyal to him. In 2032 Robotnik took over control of the City and Renamed it 'Robotroplis'. He then used plans created by Sir Charles to make his Robotiser He then robotised the City and it's people. Some people got free. He has spent the Rest of the time trying to take over the rest of the world and it's people. Notes Relating to the Character-
* Early drafts had Robotnik's background story based on much of the western ideas of Dr Kintobor, in that he was working on his lab, with an egg, when it exploded and the 'essence of rotten-eggness blended with [his] DNA'* Early episodes had a Metallic echo to Robotnik's voice, but this was removed during Series 1
