Hoaxs and Rumours There are a Number of Rumours and Hoaxs to do with Sonic. But which ones are true and which are false? Here we will do our best to answer that for you! All Rumours we have been present here are looked at and research is done to find out the truth or most likey truth behind it. We will say the statues of the Rumour. If we have proven it false we say that, if it might be true but 98% or more chance and things say it is False, we well tell you etc.

65 Episodes of SU were really made but only 40 shown.

Only 40 Episodes of Sonic Underground were EVER Made. 65 Scripts might have been Writen but not made. With any TV show, Alot of Plot ideas are writen, about 50% of them are writen as Scripts and about 50% of them are ever Made as an Episode. A good case and Point, Mark Evanier, good writer and expert on Jack Kirby and Animation, wrote an Episode for the TV show 'Cheers', they paided for the Script, they paided to keep it open to possible film if for a year. Then another year, in the end it was never made but he got a nice bit of money out of it ^_^. Anyway.. That is one case of a TV Show episode that a fair bit of money had been paid for a script but it was never used. Other shows that had on staff writers all the time or even a pool of set writers have a large number of plots and scripts writen but they are never made. It's normal. There are a fair number of TSW Scripts which haven't been used and never well be. Also a number which will be used at some point. It's nothing new. In fact, i wouldn't be suprised if more then 65 were writen. I do know of 2 SatAM Storys that were never writen as Full Scripts (to the best i know) and clearly were never made as Episodes, there are probbly alot more. What is odd is a small change of his Rumour is around that says the other episodes were shown in Bazil. Since there weren't made, it is clear no such episodes were shown. It is Possible a mistake due to AOSTH which has about 65 Episodes.

Sonic Underground was oringally French

Okay. Some people might need this to be explained. Canada is one of the few countries that is completey Spilt. There are two sides, one side French and one side English. They mix alot and for the most part it is a completey mix countrie. Now, when it comes to makeing stuff what do they do? make it for the english half or the french half? most of the time, the answer is both! Sonic Underground was one of these shows that was a joint project. DIC had there french animation studio do the animation, but all the writing and stuff was the english half. For Wider viewing all over canada it was then recorded in English and then in french. It was basicly 100% Joint all the time. Since the English writers, we could say it was English first, that atlest was how they were writen and then translated into french. Other shows like this in one way or another include Reboot, The adventures of TinTin and Highlander- the Series (That was half film in canada, half in france).

The Royal Hedgehogs Surname is Le Herisson

There Surname is Hedgehog. In a way, this is true since Le Herisson is of course French for Hedgehog. So Sonic The Hedgehog does translate into Sonic Le Herisson. Some 'fans' (putting it losely) had said that is there last name but it's just really a bit of bad work mostly based on the above rumour.

The Hedgehog aren't really Triplets

Again, this seams to come half from the 'oringally french' idea and half from people's understanding of the usage of words. A Basic translation of the French Theme song doesn't say 'Triplets Born' but just 'Three are born'. Though if i am right, is there a french word for 'Triplets'? context wise, it would just be three. Anyway. the second part is because of the comments as others as 'little sister', 'older brother' etc. This does happen with twins and such like. I have/had a pair of uncles that were twins. One was the older brother and the other the younger. Why? because twins aren't born at the same time. One comes out first.. sometimes it can be a few mintues before the second, has been known longer. The comments about the others as younger or older aren't in that way. Also, how often do kids call close family friends 'Uncle'? if you believe there aren't triplets then you must believe Uncle Chuck IS Sonic's Real Uncle in SU.. which isn't the case.

The Hedgehog's Father is Argus, head of the Queens Personal guard

Well.. i say False because there is nothing at all that points to it, but then (part from them not being half-cast) there is nothing to say he isn't. The main thing some people seam to think says he is is the photo in 'To Catch a Queen'. The Photo shows how close Argus is the the family. One thing goes farther to say because no-other guards are in the photo that PROVES it.. Well.. First of there are the Royal Guards, Then there are the queens PERONSAL Guard. And then the Head of which Argus is. The Personal guard are much closer to the people then the Royal guards in history. Royal guards would be the ones that guard the palace. Personal Guards guard the person in question. The head of the Personal Guards would be very close terms with whomever they were protecting. Now, i think the episode just says the Queen's Guard and Queen Aleena says he is a close and trusted friend so i would say 100% the personal guard over the Royal Guard. When being the head of the queen's personal guard, if they queen had kids, you would have to be close since when the queen went out, you SHOULD be with her, if not just sending a unit of the Personal Guard. Being around the little kids, they would get close. But there seams no reason for thinking he is really there father. All the clues that people believe to have found can be explain with a small bit of research.

The Hedgehog's Father is Zokar

This is from Wikipedia.. Oh yes, and we ALL know how you can trust Wikipedia don't we? The Place is known for having so much false information and peoples own views stated as Fact. Look on ANY really serious research place and they will laught at you if you tell them they are wrong and Wikipedia is right! The Name Zokar might have been there father but part from the name sounding a bit odd, there was no father in the series at all. Wikipedia also says Uncle Chuck in SU is there real Uncle, there were 65 Episodes made but only 40 shown in English tv. Note that Wikipedia also says that Metal Sonic is really 'Mecha Sonic' (the Archie Name) and the Amy Rose was Sonic's Self-proclaimed Girlfriend when alot of oringal Japanese stuff have her more being his Girlfriend. It also says Sonic's first Non Platform computer game was Sonic Spinball... What about Sonic eraser that was released in japan. Another side note about how good Wikipedia is is a bit on Satam 'In the darker and more serious series Sonic the Hedgehog,... he has a growing crush on Mobian royal Princess Sally Acorn, whom he had been friends with since they were children 10 years ago in the series proper' Yeah.. So when Sally says there were five years old and in another episode saying she is 16, she must have been lying ^_^ Now. Anyone how trusts Wikipedia needs a small brain op..
