Ultra-Duck, the Waddling Wonder had beaten Amy and Shortfuse to the fight and beaten the badniks for a while and was the new hero. It turned out that Ultra Duck was really Big Bill Screwloose, a Engineer that worked for Robotnik. He rigged up old badniks so that people would lose faith in the other heroes.
