When Robotnik was defeated, the Statue of Freedom was made in the Green Hill Zone. Every year the People put on a Fireworks display. But this year the Mad Ferret rigged the large rocket so it destroyed the Statue. This made the people think that if there symbol of hope had gone, it was a bad omen and Robotnik would rule again. Tails convinced them that they were wrong and the Mad Ferret was arrested.
