Created as the Ultimate Trooper Badnik, programmed with Robotnik's own Brainwaves, Brutus was too good and turned on his master and creator. After a short time he had build up his own Badnik army and started an all out war on Robotnik. In the End, Brutus lost and was destroyed. Much later, Robot remade Brutus for a short time when he had ultimate power but very quickly killed him after it turned out he was plotting against him again.
